SANZAR Survey
SANZAR :
In 2016, Super Rugby is growing to 18 teams with the re-introduction of the Kings in South Africa, a new team based in Argentina and a new team based in either Japan or Singapore.
As SANZAR reviews the bids from each party, we are seeking fan input on where you would like to see the 18th team based and what you think they will bring to the competition as Super Rugby expands into a bold and exciting new era!

Japan was a no-brainer for me - their team would actually have local players in it, Singapore's wouldn't.
-
I voted for Jaoan for the same reason but was disappointed to not find a comments section. I asked why they were crazy enough to put the asian team in the South African conference structure when it made NO SENSE WHATSOEVER!
-
Japan, local players who will improve over the seasons, and also will improve their national team, which probably wouldn't happen in Singapore.
Agree, groups are wrong.
-
From what I can gather, the Singapore team would be set up along the lines of the Asia Pacific Dragons so would get players both from Japan and the Islands. Could spread the benefit a bit further and would probably make for a stronger team. I still don't think either should be there though.
-
Neither side should exist and will only benefit the South African sides which they will share a conference with. Can't see the Argentine side working either unless they somehow get top players back from Europe.

I gotta admit, love having Argentina in the Championship, not too keen on them in SuperRugby.
And I hate the new conference idea, from a rugby stand-point. Financially, on the other hand...
