15-09-2006 TWF Mailout - Live Force -v- Brumbies Scoring on TWF

G'day Folks,

Just a short note to let you all know that through the marvels of the
internet, mobile telephones and 2 dedicated TWF members (Thanks to our
on the scene correspondent, Evie (in Canberra) and Travelling_Gerry) TWF
will have live scoring of the Brumbies -v- Force match this afternoon.
Information will be limited to what can fit in a text message, but we
expect to get updates at each change in the score board and for any
other events of interest. Just log on to http://thewholeforce.com

The fact that we have to resort to mobile phones from people at the
ground to hear what is happening begs a few questions ...

1. Why is the APC not being broadcast - no Free to Air TV, no Foxtel, no

2. Why are there no scheduled games being played in Perth?? Whether it
be politics or logistics, it'd be nice to know... Anyways - things are
looking good for a 29th September APC final at Members Equity - so one
home game is on the cards!

3. This has little to do with the APC, but it still needs to be asked -
Staniforth: What does a guy have to do to get a game? Be a leading try
scorer in the Super 14 Competition? Win the club's Player of the Year
award? Win the TWF Player of the Year Award? Cross for 2 tries in 2 of
his 3 Wallabies outings?
