I'll now be heading down from the cbd. How long should it take to drive down ?
Allow about 45 minutes, and it's easiest to go via Kwinana F'way, and exit at Thomas Rd, or alternatively Armadale Rd, then Tonkin, then Thomas.
The bakery in Byford had collection tins for Normie's family (official collection is via Bendigo Bank)
It's a good bakery if you're peckish, before or after the service.
I expect there will be lots of people there as he seemed to be of a personality that attracted many people who became friends.
Bless, and remember Normie.
Are we wearing our Force Jumpers or not ( I am trying my best to get away from work early )
Sorry all but I am not going to make it :verysad: I just have to much work to attend to before going on holidays on Friday
To those who are going, thank you on behalf of all of us at TWF.
CHEESH! This "work" thing just so gets in the way of things important... :(
Very moving service, many kind words and grimaces at normie's sense of humor.
So many people turned out to see him off. Shows what we all knew - what kind of a guy he was! And the legacy he leaves behind.
 normie. We'll miss you

It was a very moving service - we passed the convoy of firetrucks accompanying him on the way to the funeral and the guard of honour of firefighters at the venue itself was very poigniant.
Very good speeches from everybody.
It seems that the good feelings we have about him are universal.
RIP Normie...
