Errm. Ditto on the apology. My 1500 was a typo. Meant 11500. All good, thanks.
I think we're both working out way around the same point from different angles.
Nice White isn't going to provide a membership boost of massive magnitude (tbh I'm not sure that signing Nick Nat would do that)
I concede that his inclusion in the organisation might improve on field performance and in WA we all know a winning team has a healthy membership
It's not Mitch Marsh who brings the people through the gate at Perth Scorchers games, it's the fact that they win and have a winning record. I guarantee you that West Coast's crowd records are based on the fact that they've missed finals on only a handful of occasions.
Signing a Wallaby can help but winning will bring crowds back.
It would be interesting to know how many individuals have been a Member at some time in the Forces history.
Many, particularly on here, will be long term renewals, but as GIGS suggests, it's those who were interested enough to part with their hard earned for one or two seasons that are requiring inspiration.
Full disclosure, I haven't renewed since being booted out of SR as was only getting one or two matches a year, doesn't alter my passion and doesn't alter my frequency though.
Yes, I suspect a lot fell away then and haven't returned. And understandably so.
I'm still a member,abeit under sufferance
Well I confess we nearly gave it away after the great shafting but then AF made the prices for GRR so hard to go past....and so on went our unbroken journey/torture. :)
My (Out-of-Town) Membership has been consistently inconsistent.
First 5 years I was a member, and then off and on since then. My long-term unemployment has been my problem. I have never lost my love for the Force.
Not going to win the crowd back with crap like tonights effort.
Still going since day one but I’m still undecided for next year. If we carry on with displays like tonight I might just stay at home and watch it on telly and just go to home games I fancy.
First year I’ve not renewed. Between shift work, kids sport , growing cost of living etc had to consolidate a little and when it came to entertainment well The Force membership became the victim. As it is unluckily I’ve been on shift for the 5 home games so haven’t been able to front up anyway. Doesn’t mean I don’t love them any less. Still pisses the minister off at home when I’m yelling at the TV watching the Force games.
