The InnFORCEers Tour - Force v Cheetahs (10th May) & v Stormers (17th May)

Three of us (at least) are heading to the Republic in May for the SA tour:

When it was first mooted, I know Alison said she'd think about it. Anyone else?

With the bye the week before, the three confirmed are making a holiday of it, looking into safaris in the two weeks before, and Madagascar afterwards (well, when else are you going to go to Africa?)

The safari & Madagascar legs are optional for anyone else, but you're welcome to join us if you like; AndyS is the point of contact for those.

I had planned to go Sheikh but now can't for various reasons, not least of which is trying to save up for the RWC in England next year :-((

The trip you have got planned sounds supercalafragilisticexpialidocious!! Really wish I could win lotto, jack in my job & come with you!!

On the subject, does anyone (TiF?) have a contact at the Force that might be able to help us out with the captains run at Newlands? I doubt we'll be in Bloem early enough, but the Stormers gaff is one of those iconic stadiums and a closer look would be awesome. Assistance with tickets would also be great, but I know that can be problematic and I assume there won't be a problem with buying from overseas.

Ok. What's the earliest a tour has started? First pint at Perth airport now - 2 weeks before the game!

Newlands is a fantastic stadium (the view of table mountain in the backdrop takes the cake).
Got to watch WP play the Griquas in Currie Cup a year and a bit ago.
You won't regret it, especially watching the FORCE!

You on the same flight as the Bulls Sheikh?

You should be able to notice them. They'll probably have military fatigue tracksuits on & big sooky faces!

Was standing behind Flip van der merwe at Perth Interantional on wednesday night.
The guy is Frickin Huuuge. The customs lady behind the desk inquired "So you're a professional rugby player."
He was complaining because he got the sniffer dogs when he came through security, then i was behind him when he got pulled aside by an arab security guy for a swab test on his luggage haha

Flip Must hyave been overseas to have gone thru Customs Maybe he left his Baggage in NZ and came via there as you dont go thru customs from NSW or have we susceed from the east already
