So, How did last Weekend's Trial Matches Go?

Haven't heard much on this front, were there any apart from Wests v Soaks?

My spies tell me that there wasn't much between those two clubs at first grade level, and that Wests have picked up dramatically, although you could expect Soaks to be holding back on their star recruits (or at least Soaks supporters must be praying so).

Young schoolboy Kyle Godwin appears to be the goods for Soaks at five eight and will be a bonus for them if he doesn't get injured.

Wests have poached a very useful bunch of under 18s from other clubs and should be very competitive at that level also.

What else is happening at this early stage of the season?

And another question.

Does any one know who the latest crop of Force recruits were directed to by the Force management (or by the club officials who were in the know in Force management before any one else was and alerted their clubs - same thing, really).

I'll dumb it down for yo.

1. Many new faces in Force this year.

2. What clubs did they go to.

3. Did the Force send them there, or did they just all happen to love certain clubs.

4. Were these players approached by the clubs they ended up at.

5. If so, did those clubs find out they were available because of inside information.

6. Was this information available to all other clubs.

7. Are the rest of the clubs going to roll over (again) and be shafted (again).

So yo see how much information can be requested in so few words, if you know how to condense the questions.

i agree with the first post i watched the soaks wests game on saturday. both teams were even more or less most of the game but wests had the edge in some departments.

soaks had a few new players in the squad but i dont know about wests i think they had a couple new boys there. wests certainly wont be bottom of the league this year if they play anything like that.
