WA WOMEN SET FOR BIG SHOW AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The WA Women's squad will compete in their first match of the 2009 National Championships against Victoria on the Gold Coast tomorrow morning.

Coaches Gus Martyn and Dwayne Nestor have high expectations for their charges.

"We think we can really deliver this year," Martyn said.

"We're not just here to compete, we want our girls to showcase their skills on the national stage."

The Ladies' next game will be against Sydney on Thursday morning.
