The Trinidad and Tobago Men's Senior National Rugby Team, once held the number one ranking in Caribbean Rugby but, those glory days are no more.

The Calypso Warriors are seeded sixth and will have to battle hard to emerge winners of the upcoming North America and West Indies Rugby Union (NAWIRA) 2011 Rugby World Cup qualifier which will be held in Cayman Islands next month.

On the Trinidad and Tobago side of the draw are host Cayman Islands and defending Caribbean Champions Barbados.

The eight team NAWIRA World Cup qualifying tournament will be held April 19-27.

Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Football Union (TTRFU) Vice-President, Leslie Figaro, believes that Trinidad and Tobago has a realistic chance of winning but the work ethic needs to be improved.

Figaro said, "It all comes down to the preparation. The players need to train at a level of intensity that will ensure that we are the fittest team in the tournament, mental toughness will also be important".
