I'd prefer a 22 game, full home and away season (with a couple of byes for a 24-week regular season) and then a finals only consisting of the top 4 (possibly top 6). But that's mainly because I'd rather have 11 guaranteed home matches a season than 6-7.

I think if it was full Home and Away, it'd make an 8 team finals more valid.

But you probably wouldn't need contrived, extended finals series after 22 rounds of pool play, and more if you're doing bye weeks.

I reckon highlanders will lose both and that could be our best way of sneaking in.

The point about playing reds the week after they went to Fiji is a good one and there is a chance Brumbies could rest players for our game if nothing on the line

I'm more confident about winning the reds game than brums.Both are wobbly, but Vunivalu isn't the only reason the reds went down in fiji
