    Anybody who made the field got at least a 7 from me, I thought it was a real team effort, with everyone doing heaps of good stuff. Special mentions to Yak (good game, particularly nice to see him get his head back in the right place after losing his cool a bit) Shep (well what can I say) Gits (of course, dangerous EVERY tim he got the ball) Cross (he's really making the transition well, only got isolated in attack once and DID YOU SEE THAT TACKLE), and Rudi, for stepping up in the lineout since matfield was following Sharpie all game, Rudi made it easy for us to put Sharpie anywhere the ball wasn't going and get Matfield out of the game.

    Finally got to watch the match this morning (thanks Gerry ) and was greatly heartened by what I saw!
    Apart from the second twenty of the first half the boys played with a passion and confidence I haven't seen from them before.
    Personally, I think the greatest difference this week was the skills in the Forwards, no more so than from Sharpe and of course THAT TRY by Boof!
    I'm with TIF, Sheps and Gits have been getting plenty of press but for me I rate Boof Hardy as the player of the year so far this season, with what should have been the Man of the Match performance this Round.
    If you aren't convinced and you have the disc, watch it again with an eye for his work rate/load.
    He was everywhere, making tackles, at the bottom of rucks, passing from rucks, cleaning up lineouts and yes, loitering out on the Wing to score a spectacular try. But he made the try, he didn't just fall over the line.
    Generally a great performance with some minor concerns but for Round 3 that was pretty top shelf for mine.

    Interested in some feedback.
    A kicker is allowed one minute from the time he gets the kicking tee (as a confused Scott Daruda had a running commentary with the Ref during the Reds APC match...) to when he takes the kick.
    Assuming a penalty kick is successful, how much hard grind would a tight five player have to do to match that one minute for three points effort?
    This is about any tight five and any kicker not Hardy v Shepherd by the way.
    It's just interesting how often kickers and Wingers "star" and tight forwards are "just doing their jobs".
    Does a given pig have to score a try to get points or can he earn votes just purely on scrummaging and other tight play?
