I think much of the high error rate was due to a very slippery ball

I think you'll find he called it back to a scrum for a knock on there Rick (if my addled 4am brain isn't lying to me) the embarrassing thing is, that we didn't seem to get a hand anywhere near the ball and the try was legal in my opinion....Unless of course it was a crooked throw.....Or Hodgeo was offside...ore something else!

the call was that it was a crooked Force throw..but the Sharks tapped it back loose to their side...Hoddo pounced on it and ran over for the TRY.

oh OK. I missed that......maybe made an assumption based on the fact that a scrum was packed.....Sorry Rick, consider my words eaten!

I initially thought he called a knock on as well, which would have been rank injustice since the Force's only touch was a knock back. The ref certainly never signalled a crooked throw, that I could see, but the commentators said the ref had called a crooked throw and hopefully they were getting the ref's sound feed. It's the only call that made sense, and even then, since the Sharks immediately knocked it back on their side, I thought he might have let it go ... shame really, it would have been a ripper try.

But the Force can't have too many complaints, they just didn't gain enough possession to win with. They were up against a top class team, so it's not undue cause for concern, but the piggies will definitely need to lift in the coming games.

I did some intense scrutiny of the line out in question, the ref has is playing advantage before the alleged knock on takes place, hence the call being a crooked throw...

watched the game again this avo the commentator was convinced that it was shep that scored the try until the replay, when he was corrected by the co host and informed that it was holmsie...i thought they were pretty poor at identifying the force players through out the game........

    force played crap.
henjaks contract will be in the shredder soon.
    what a waste.

but lets not forget about the man that made his force debut at the 66minute.
the player that in 2006 didnt even get selected in the original perth gold squad.
the first player to be elevated from the academy to the force squad.
and the first pally player to play for the force.

what was his first WA club.
currently the only club he has played for.
    produced was bad wording.
Jason Jones the old pally coach can claim chuckys success a bit.
bring him over to wa etc.
but still the only force player to come reperesent a WA club. before being signed.

Dane Haylett-Petty and Kieran Longbottom might take issue with that stance PRUC
