Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has fond memories of Perth.
He played his first senior game of rugby with Wanneroo Districts in the late 1980s when his father Jim was club coach and he represented WA on a couple of occasions.

Murray Watts- five Tests for the All Blacks 1979-80. Played for Nedlands 1989.
Nicky Little- Played Juniors rugby at Nedlands. Went on to play heaps of Tests for Fiji from 1996 onwards.
forgot about those two!
Who was the ex-England player who played for Leeming/Southern Lions?
Lovely bloke, can't remember his name...
Nicky Little was a Nedlands junior? What age did he leave WA then?
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
The Bracewell brothers played for Kalamunda.
Ecky - I think it was Nick Stringer, 5 caps for England. Played with him in the Curtain Raiser at the WACA before the Springboks match after they were allowed out of the wilderness. And yes, a lovely bloke.
