Just had word that Sport FM restarts broadcasting on Friday at noon on 101.7fm weekends, but should be going 7-days later in the year!
Looks like we'll have a choice of radio broadcasts and some competition come next year!![]()
thats brilliant and 7 day a week too. The best

ohhh! 6PR v SportFM
Think this is an excellent deal for Perth - this is Groove FM's old frequency and should be capable of broadcasting all over Perth not just to Warwick Road - bet Soccer. Netball and BasketBall will be happy about this one as well as the local stuff just doesn't do anything other than AFL and swimming at Olympic time.
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
groove isnt broadcasting anymore?
thats a spin out.
oh well, we get more sport![]()
groove lost their licence a couple of months back, good to have sportFM back, its always worth a listen......

should be good listening!!
Sorry folks, the grand opening has been delayed at least a week - hoping for next Wednesday. Apparently they had forgotten to tell the radio industry which require 7 days notice? Admin details, anyways ... BRING ON THE SPORT! Wonder if they'll cover any Wallabies games?
We should get some local rugby action though!
will they call the WAFL games that 6pr doesnt?
you mistake me for someone who gives a rats' ...
Whatever happened to... that Joondalup-centric rugby radio station (that I could only ever pick up on the internet) which featured a couple of mad Poms spouting BS about how good English soccer, Prop 53 and no.8 were?
I can't imagine they failed due to lack of excitement....
I think no.8 has just organised a horse's head for you bed Fulvio
