Crocked O’Connor out of Force clash

    Damn it.

Western Force have suffered a blow to their chances of beating the Hurricanes on Friday night with teenage sensation James O’Connor ruled out with a hamstring strain.

The versatile O’Connor, who has been used as a second playmaker in the centres among a variety of backline roles, suffered the injury during last week’s morale-boosting win over the Reds.

He was given until this morning to prove his fitness but has been ruled out, opening the door for Junior Pelesasa to return to the starting line-up.

    More to come…

Yeah but with that bench who comes into 10 if Giteau gets injured (knock on wood)?

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

Damnit! I was hoping for a blinder from him again this week

That's also bad noone to back Giteau, maybe they'll bring Daruda in?

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

After Junior's display in Canberra, I reckon he could do a reasonable "pinch hitter" at 10 if necessary. Hope he repats that form. We won't be too mfar off the mark there if he does.

He'd have to watch his passing if that was the case.

Valo could cover the kicking easily enough. I reckon Valo would be a better option than Junior, but it'd be a straight, hard attacking line should that occur!
