Jaco Taute will make his return to the starting line-up at fullback in the place of James Kamana who is serving a three-match suspension for a dangerous tackle in last week’s 25-20 victory over the Cheetahs.
In midfield Waylon Murray moves from outside to inside centre in the place of the injured Doppies La Grange which means Jannie Boshoff will earn his first start in the number 13 jersey this season.
On the bench former Leopards stalwart Deon van Rensburg slots into the position left vacant by Taute.
Lions coach John Mitchell also decided to retain the services of Rory Kockott at scrumhalf ahead of Jano Vermaak.

hrm no Chavhanga.. i thought he played last week?
Although Chavangha is quick as a scalded cat, I don't think much of him as a player. He never seems to produce like you'd expect for a winger with wheels like that!

Doppies La Grange is out nooooo my Fantasy team is ruined ruined i tells ya!!!
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
rugby365.com Prediction: It's been four long years since the Lions managed back-to-back Super Rugby victories. But having ended a 17-match losing streak, they can now start expressing themselves without the burden of having to break that long-standing duck. It may well make them a far more formidable foe. The Lions and Western Force will provide an intense arm-wrestle and some quality entertainment, before the Lions will ease to a 15-point win.
Rugby 365 have us losing by plus 15!!!!
What planet are they on or are we playing that badly and the Lions that good!!!! I seem to remember they lost to tye Blues and we drew against a far stronger line up
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
Rugby365 are dickheads.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
