The Sharks started their 2011 Super rugby campaign by beating the Cheetahs 24-9 at Kings Park stadium in Durban in a rugby match that was anything but "Super".
The Sharks scored the only two tries of the match and both came from driving mauls as the weather prevented free flowing rugby.
The match was a pretty unattractive encounter with the conditions not conducive to running rugby, but the Sharks will be more than happy to have claimed the four log points.

I think the Sharks will be disappointed that they weren't able to claim a bonus point out of this game, the Cheetahs IMO are the worst team in the comp.
Cheetahs didn't have Juan Smith and Heinrich Brussow for that game. Those are two class cats to have out.
I rate the Cheetahs over the Lions and Rebels. Maybe even the Highlanders.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
