    Crash Tackle

Anyone played the rugby board game Crash Tackle?? You can now buy pewter figurines as the players that you can paint up, one of mine is of course the Force boys. I will attach an image shortly.

Here it is. Bear in mind they are only 35mm in height so the finer detail is very difficult.

Check out www.crashtackle.co.za for the game and madfindesigns.co.uk for the figurines. Another laugh is the PEWC cup where players get together somewhere in England to play each other check out pewccup.blogspot.com for the pictures.

Check out the site as well www.crashtackle.co.za I've never played warhammer so I can't compare it. It's a dice game but only sort of. You set up your players in your style of play and the ball gets moved up to 14 spaces on the board for the kick off. You can move all or none of your players to chase the kick. Each player can only move a certain amount of squares depending on their number, eg forwards less than the backs. Each player also has a ball skill so say you want to pick up the ball or pass that's when you roll the dice and if it's equal to or less than the players ball skill you complete the move.

It's good, obviously it's not playing the game on the field with your mates(which I still do) but it's a good indoor rugby game.

yeah its like war hammer exept in war hammer you have either mutant alien things or lord of the ring models and the point is to destory the apponent before they can destroy you. You use dice and a tape measure to work out how far and how much damage you player does.
