As a shameless attempt to cash in on TWF's popularity, as well as to keep you all informed about stadium-related issues I'm going to start this thread so you can be updated when something new/interesting happens on We Need Corners.

Hopefully this will help if you end up in discussion/debate with someone about the new stadium. This one should be of interest to the one-eyed footy fans:


Jargs found an article in the Daily Terror this morning about how anxious Geelong have been about the playing surface at ANZ Stadium (particularly on the wings where the retractable seating goes) since the Collingwood match last month there.

ANZ stadium is complete shite though, they play to many games there and the day that the ground came apart was when they had a rugby league match one night, afl the next, the system doesn't work adn your all completely right to fight it at every opportunity, will say though, that the rectangular ground will be spot on perfect!

Agreed, i had the pleasure of being at Suncorp this year for the Reds vs Force game this year (obviously not for the game because we were shit) but I did the stadium tour the day before the game and was just amazed at the place
