It is very a sad day in our short history, he was true Force man and even answered our desperate SOS last year.
I will forever remember him for a moment in time in 2006 when walking round the field after one of our many losses that first season and asking my son to stand close to the fence so I could get a picture as Stanners passed and he said no wait bring him closer to me and I will be in the actual photo with him, the following weekend he got a call up to the Wallaby squad.
Stanners I hope that you only have good times ahead, and that life after rugby treats you well.
