Rumour doing the rounds this morning, sharpie approached by another aussie S15 franchise about playing on next season?!!! WTF!!... I believe he's turned it down....

not surprising really. still the best lock in the country

Well they don't have any good news stories about the Tahs so why not make up a story about nothing to fill the space![]()

It's a shame he they can't find some way to keep him (i.e. only playing home games so he gets more family time). I'd have loved to see him captain the Force against the BI Lions.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Sharpie is a man of honour so if he was going to give it another year, I agree it would be with the Force.
He's made it very clear he is hanging up his boots at the end of this season and I just don't see him going back on that. Also, his boys are growing up and I'm sure he'd not want to miss any more of their childhoods.
That would have been a fantastic end though - playing against two B & I Lions tours, wonder how many players can say that they had done that? But as you say , he's done the right thing and made his intentions clear at the start, unlike a certain ex coach..
God what is it with this crap "journalism"? That's what four stories this weekend that are complete made up rubbish, are designed to further an agenda, and destabilize players, coaches, teams and supporters.
No wonder Australian rugby is a laughingstock ATM, Christ how embarrassing comparing all the other games this weekend with the Brum/Rabble dross and Tahrds capitulation. The only pleasing aspect is EWF had no part in it all.

You wouldn't even know they played rugby here in Sydney so I guess that's how they try and convince people here that it does actually exist. Must stop at the NSW rugby club to be sure!

Ooooh, just noticed a certain N Stiles was in the Reds team that played the B&I Lions back in 2001 with Sharpie!
That's a pretty awesome Reds team, and got flogged
