http://newmanmail.com.au/news/2012/0...oody-slow-cup-Pencil Saturday 20 October into your calendar for the 2012 Bloody Slow Cup.
Will the Kiwis continue on their relentless way or will the Aussies get up and steal a win?
Planning is well under way and it is hoped that the 2012 event will be just as big, if not bigger, than the 2011 event.
Activities planned for the weekend include:
Family concert with WA police pipe band
Three day enduro motocross event
Golf day
Ladies fashion event
Golden oldies rugby match - Newman vs Tom Price/Port Hedland
Memorial service at crash site
Senior & junior netball - Aust vs NZ
Junior rugby match - Newman vs Perth/Bayswater
Touch rugby match - Area C vs Yandi
Touch rugby women's - Aust vs NZ
20/20 cricket game
Lawn bowls Aust vs NZ
And of course …
The Bloody Slow Cup - Aust vs NZ
We (I?) should pull our respective fingers out one of these years and make the journey - road trip anyone?
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAD TRIP!
Too far away...
Yeah, ok, it's not, but I am not free this year unfortunetly.
Happy to make it work next year with a decent lead time though.
Unless camping you would probably need about 3 months to secure accom as everything in Newman is tightly held by mining.

Just wondering about that ladies' fashion event......we're talking Newman, WA right?!![]()
