Congratulations Pek Cowan and Matt Hodgson

Deansy has been true to his word and selected players on form - congratulations to Pek and Matt for a fully deserved selection. Reward I think for working on technique, their huge workload around the ground and especially in the rucks, and the fact they have turned up week in week out with tenacity and focus.

    Well done!!

I liked Pek Cowan’s immense smile during the Wallabies announcement interview...

I really like that fact that our Wallabies Coaching team wants to blood new talent and improve all the provinces and importantly is actually doing it... In years to come along with the expansion of the Super series in 2011 I'm sure we will see the Deans years as an Australian international rugby resurgence...

I'm quite happy with the selections, add the other players who are out due to injuries and the Wallabies will have a very large pool of excellent talent to call upon come the 2011 RWC... and as we all have noted there is more talent coming through…

I made some comments early in the season about Pek being "mr everywhere" his work rate around the field is phenomenal and while all the ES scribes were tugging away about others, Pek was there week in, week out doing an outstanding job.
