AT least five players will make their Western Force debuts in Friday night's Super 14 clash with the ACT Brumbies.
One-Test Wallaby Mark Bartholomeusz will take up the five-eighth role following the season-ending injury to Andre Pretorius, while scrumhalf Brett Sheehan, inside centre Sam Harris and props Matt Dunning and Nic Henderson will also don Force colours for the first time in Super 14 competition after being named in the starting XV.
Wallabies centre Ryan Cross has been named in the run-on side despite struggling to overcome an abdominal injury in recent weeks.
Young gun James O'Connor will play at fullback while prop Pek Cowan will start at hooker after his impressive display there in the Force's trial win over Queensland last week.
Wingers Haig Sare (Achilles tendon) and Nick Cummins (foot) couldn't be considered due to injury.
Matt Hodgson, David Pocock and Richard Brown will form a formidable back row while Sam Wykes will partner Nathan Sharpe at lock.
Star Wallabies flyhalf Matt Giteau has been named by the Brumbies but is no certainty to play due to a lingering quad complaint.

And how many show-ponies are making their Brumbies debuts?
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Pat McCabe, Josh Valentine, Rocky Elsom and Afusipa Taumoepeau I think.
Was Ben Hand this season or last, can't recall.
Over rated anyway.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Does it count as a debut if you start on the bench and get gametime? If this is the case, then Fairbrother, Inman and McCalman can be added to that group.
Pretty sure they do Ox, guess that is the "at least five" part.
Another article mentions "up to eight".

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
He'd probably take it so long as they don't add "-icle"...
Five Force debutantes, but only one S14 Debutante......doesn't sound so bad really! (Actually, Harris suited up for the Tahs at one point didn't he?)

Interesting Dunning's got the nod ahead of Fairbrother
Did Inman play on Friday past? If he did, I obviously missed it and therefore (with some degree of embarrassment) ask, how did he rate?
Good luck to new guys and the whole team, and as the adverts say lets be the force behind the Force tomorrow at ME Bank and get our boys over the line.
