is 'organisational change' just a different way of saying 'restructure'..

    so who got sacked?

Today isn't coffee van day so alas I don't think I will be privy to any rugbywa gossip sessions today.

If I hear anything I will let you know.

(A closest Jess appreciator speaks) Looking from the outside in - RugbyWA seems to be in a bit of turmoil at the moment.
The effeciency they have had in the last couple of seasons seems to not be there this year.
All organisations have growing pains and I imagine RugbyWA is no different to anywhere else.
Something that has been with RugbyWA since the Western Force started is this insistance of doing everything cloack and dagger style.
Quite often when a decision is made it is without consultation and often the target has been hit but not in the bullseye!

I think it is basically a set up that rewards Mitch Hardy for the good work he did as acting CEO and with signing up players over the last few months.... but i will admit that the community rugby side of things has definatley been in a bit of dissaray (spelling) whilst Mitch has been acting CEO they have seemed to lack a lot of direction in that department....

That's a bit unkind to Mitch - yes he did a hell of a lot as acting but he steered the org through the Henjak thing etc.. sounds like G Harris just recognises that Mitch can't do everything and perhaps just concentrating on EWF and Academy stuff is enough work for 1 person - Tinks is pretty well respected on the community side of things and hopefully he'll pick up on the mistakes of this year and pull a plan together to make it easier on the folks at RugbyWa and us out in clubland as well.

Sounds like a plan that could work - so lets just give it a chance.

Dont know if you referring to my post Q1 but I was actually supporting Mitch saying the Manger Rugby position has been created as a reward for his achievements as acting CEO. And was not having a go at Mitch for community rugby being in a bit of dissaray whilst he was CEO as you said he cant do everything and hence why they have lacked bit of direction....

All for this as hopefully will provide more stability and direction for Rugby WA and Mitch keeps signing up players....

And Q1 if you weren't referring to my post carry on then and I will go back in my box...

Hopefully it stops here, we don't want heaps of different positions until it becomes a mess like the NSWRU....

Everyone is looking for that balance between amateur and professional. This seems a workable solution, so long as the two managers can work together and the right functional and financial balances can be struck. Fingers crossed.
