Tony Harvey RIP

GEOFF STOOKE OAM asked for a minutes silence before today's match in tribute to Tony Harvey who died suddenly this morning from Heart Failure. Geoff paid tribute to Tony as a collegue and champion of community rugby in Western Australian.

Tony Harvey has been on the RugbyWA board since 1990 and as such has seen the birth and development of Emirates Western Force.

I had the pleasure of knowing Tony (President RugbyWA) for many years through his real estate business and his love of rugby. Tony always kept an eye on us here at TWF and always enjoyed catching up with us on tour. Tony will be sadly missed and my thoughts go to his wife Joyce and his family.

Absolutely shocked to hear this. Tony was a great guy and always put rugby in WA first. He was genuine and approachable and will be greatly missed by the rugby community.
