Heinikin Cup
Does anyone know how the competition is structured and how teams get to in the comp? I had a look at the web site it but didn't tell me much.
TIA

It should be on http://www.ercrugby.com
It great to see that the games are on Fos Sports at Noon on Thursdays and Midnight on Friday Nights!
I think there are 24 teams
7 from France - Stade Francais, Biarritz, Toulouse, Castres, Perpignan, Bourgoin, Clermont
6 from Ungland - Wasps, Leicester Tigers , Sale, Saracens, Bath and Leeds Tykes
3 from Eyeland - Munster , Ulster and Leinster
2 from Italy - Benetton Trevisio and Calvisino
4 from Wales - Neath Swansea Ospreys, Gwent Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Llanelli Scarlets
2 from Scotland - Edinburgh Gunners and Glasgow Warriors
In 6 pools of 4 , all play each other in the pool home and away with the top of the pool going into the Quarter Finals , the final 2 are decided via the best placed 2nd place team in the 6 pools.
There is a second tier competition like the UEFA Cup in Football called THE EUROPEAN CHALLENGE CUP
It has the teams from the teams which didn't qualify for the HC who play in 5 polls of 4
7 from France - Narbonne, Pau, Agen, Montpellier,Bayonne, Brive, Toulon
6 from Ungland - London Orish, Bristol, Northampton,Glawster, Newcastle, Worcester
1 from Eyeland - Connacht
1 from Scotland - The Borders
4 from Italy - Viadana, Overmach Parma,Catania,LAqulia,
1 from Romania - Stade Bucherest
The winner of the ECC goes into the HC the next season
