Thirsty work - Bars closed with 30 minutes to go

What was the go with closing the bars with 30minutes to go in the second half, I'm in block 334 and we were copping the sun, making it essential to keep the fluids coming. I believe this happened all around the ground. I've emailed the powers that be for a 'please explain', currently holding my breath.....

I had as many claas for a petition on this as for the rectangular stadium....possibly I could just quit my job and run the 14 billion petitions which would be required to make watching the rugby an enjoyable experience!

Bars have always shut midway through the 2nd half (equivalent to end of 3rd quarter in GayFL).

Yeah- it's pretty much the same everywhere though.

I was left trying to explain to my friend why I was only allowed to buy 2 drinks following the commencement of the 2nd innings at a one-day match at the WACA last year- with about 3 HOURS remaining in the match. Thank god for membership- there's full strength beer, you can buy it by the jug and it don't turn off until the boys are back in the shed!

I would just like to point out that not all of Subi Oval experiences such draconian drinking rules.....in the lovely corporate boxes, full-strength beers continue to flow until 1 hour (yes, a full 60 minutes) after the completion of the match.

Thank you for your kind words and I will see what I can do to assist you in improving your overall viewing experience. If, as expected, I miss a lot of the remaining home games due to a US visit (Larry - I'm coming to visit you again!) then I will definitely see if the girls can take my place (I'm working on the terms of the deal with them ).

They couldn't believe how shy all you lot were as they were hoping someone would ask them what they were doing in my seats & get the ball rolling that way......shame on you all!!!!!

Unfortunately, it seems that we may have lost another new rugby convert to the dark side as they think Dan Carter's a hottie. Obviously I did point out Hbana's view on Carter but I don't think they cared!!!!

just take drinks inside, i think you can take anything non alcaholic but if you are desprate to take beer in then just fill up a drink bottle with it.
