This is a bit adverty but you might want to know about it. Someone have a read and tell us about it.
Talking Point
He's got the body of a Gladiator but the face of a child and as a teenager he became an overnight success - from schoolboy rugby to the Wallabies in just a year. That's the sensational record of the Western Force's James O'Connor, one of the most exciting players in rugby today.
"When I'm on the field, when I get in the zone, I want to win and not let anything stop me from winning," he says.
But O'Connor is determined to keep his eye on the ball off the field as well.
"I'm going to be a role model now," he says. "I want to be a bit more professional. I love rugby so I have to make those sacrifices so I have definitely changed the way I approach my life off the field."

Its a good article. Well worth the $2.30 for the rest of the paper.
Young men and their hair - what is going on there???
"When I'm on the field, when I get in the zone," ....
"I'm going to be a role model now,"....
Sneaking suspicion he may not have heard the last of those lines, fantastic cannon fodder for training.....
A little bit too "Willie Beamen" for my liking.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
From the 3 or 4 pics in the mag, he might go into modelling too. The stuff he is quoted as saying is very typical of a sporting professional with media training. Important thing to me is that he DOES keep his head on with brain in gear off-field. I guess his Gold Coast experience helped with that.

That suit is VERY flattering
He's a good kid and I'd like to think we've earnt some loyalty from him, and next time contract season comes around we'll have a done deal in days. He knows where the future is![]()
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...
