    Question

Can anyone tell me how many losses we had before our very first home win against the Hurricanes ?
I was asked the question yesterday, and couldn't remember?

According to Wiki: we were 0-5 and a draw at home in 2006 and lost the first two home games in 2007 before beating the Hurricanes, so our first home win was the 9th match, but with 7 losses in the first 8.

Away in 2006 we were 1-1-5, and before our first home win we were 2-1-0 (yes, 2 wins and a draw in 3 matches!)

    2006 1 win and 2 draws from 13, 12 points, 14th
    2007 6 wins and a draw from 13, 32 points 7th (tahs 13th reds 14th)
    2008 7 wins from 13, 33 points 8th (above brumbies and reds)
    2009 6 wins and a draw from 13, 36 points 8th (above reds)
    2010 4 wins from 13, 19 points 13th
2011 5 wins and 2 draws from 16, 37 points 12th (above brums and rabble)
    2012 3 wins from 16, 27 points, 14th

In 2010 we lost Gits (136 points for Brums), Mitchell (9 tries Tahs), Pretorious missed season, Pocock missed 5 games, Shep missed 8 games

We have beaten every team, won on the road in both NZ and SA, beaten all the Australian franchises away.

I went looking for stats on a similar subject, but to no avail...does anyone have your home and away stats ? Off the top of my head, I think we have won more away from home than at home - correc ?

So, overall, we have won 33%, lost 61% and drawn 6%
At home, its virtually the same....

    Home - played 48, won 16 (33%)
    Away - played 49, won 16 (33%)

that surprises me - what surprises me even more though, is the fact that we won 42% of our games at Subi and its now only 23% at NIB !!!!

thanks for the site TG - interesting reading

    Of the home matches:

    Subi: played 26, won 11, drawn 1, lost 14
    Nib: played 22, won 5, drawn 2, lost 15

Moving away from Subi may not have been such a good idea! (I know, ITYFIABMCTT!)

Just had a look at that site again - checked on the Crusaders stats. Of course they are over 50% against every opponent, the lowest % (so the best performing team against the Crusaders) is held by the Blues and THE WESTERN FORECE !!!!!
