Not much of a surprise, I wonder if he'll have as much success in the French game as Brock James, French rugby is obviously inferior to the brand of rugby played in the Southern Hemisphere and our cast-offs can build themselves quite a fan following. (Damn the lack of a tongue in cheek smiley)

Good luck to him, he was a faithful servant, particularly with limited game time.

Incredibly limited game time - we need ARC depth is disappearing to quickly - really saddened to see Scott go again doubt we've seen the last of this man either wishing him and his all the best.

Thinking the market for French teachers must be huge around RugbyWa at the moment.

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

Good luck Scotty, I hope it all goes well and I think you have made a great decision.

By my counting we are now down to three (and two if Boof leaves) of the inaugural XV and two from the bench! Four more who debuted in '06.

    Hardy
    Sharpe
    Hodgson

    Brown
    Shepherd

    Sare
    O'Connor
    Cowan
    Pocock

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

    All the best, Scotty!
At this rate, the French clubs are going to have to start learning Strine.

Damn, though Who've we actually got?

Good on him, he has been to loyal to the force and got nothing back in return. Hope he can make a big name for himself over there.
