Why can't the Force just add a five dollar levy for all entry to the first home match and give that to the appeal as a donation. Much more money for much less trouble, and take all the kudos themselves?

Or play an additional home match against a lesser international side (Croatia, China?) and donate the profits from that.

I may be wrong, but I think the match was organised prior to the floods, they've decided to give the profits to the flood victims now.

When I read that the Force "...will clash with pro baseball side Perth Heat at Barbagallo ballpark in Thornlie in aid of the Queensland flood relief appeal." on a RugbyWA website, I, obviously very foolishly, assumed that was the purpose the game was arranged for.
