Does anyone know the membership numbers for the Western Force in 2011?
According to the 2010 Annual Report from Rugby WA, there were about 13,500 paid up members last year.
This year, the Brumbies have a target membership of 9,000 which I don't think they have reached yet. The Waratahs were cheering in February when their membership went over 8,000. The Reds were targeting 15,000 members for 2011 and the Rebels 11,500.
So far in 2011, the reported attendances at the Australian teams' home games have been:
Melbourne: 25,000 14,000 15,000 17,000 18,700
Sydney: 33,800 16,000 21,000
Canberra: 13,000 16,000 18,000 13,000
Brisbane: 26,000 22,000 19,500 30,000
Perth: 17,600 16,000 15,000 14,500
Last I heard, we were a whisper away from 15,000 members and that was before we had played a home game, so was more time for people to sign up.
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
There was a small queue outside the membership office at the last home game - so am guessing won't see offical numbers until the end of the season -

Reds were at 14'574, but they continue to sell and they will probably just scrape across 15'000 by seasons end.. Which is comparable to the Broncos figures(15'000), still below the Lions(20'000) though.
What happened to the TV commercial?
