At the risk of making a goose of myself (yet again...) could it be argued that the Staniforth family is the strongest rugby family in Australia at the moment?
I'm assuming that the three are brothers, Scott Staniforth Werstern Force, Nigel Staniforth Sydney University NSWRU and Josh Staniforth Wests ACTRU and ACT&SNWS Vikings ARS?
Scott has almost played himself back into Wallaby selection at the Force, seven years since his last Cap.
Born in West Wyalong.
Following an outstanding '05 seasons, Nigel is carving them up from Fullback for the Students in the Shute Shield. Going on his '05 form it bewilders me why he wouldn't have been selected for a Tahs contract but he may be interested in following Scott to Western Australia.
99% sure from looking through media reports that this is Scott's brother.
Josh, more the journeyman of the three has settled at Wests and will be back before the S14 recruiters eyes this year in the Australian Rugby Shield comp. Having been previously an Australian Under 19 Rep ('01), Canberra Viking and Brumbies Squad Member he has been knocking on the door but never quite made it.
Born in Young, a Scott Staniforth midfield hit up from West Wyalong!
Perhaps Josh should be heading further West as well.
They would make one hell of a backline for Nedlands anyway!!!
Any thoughts and feel free to nominate a more qualified family.
One that comes to mind may be Faingaa twins for the Brumbies however I think they may be a year or two off from competing with the Staniforths, I believe they have a younger brother showing promise so maybe that will be the time they "reign"?

Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Gits, Dad isn't playing so doesn't qualify as "current"
I had forgotten about Gits' sister though however, I think for the sake of this thread, you will agree that may be a little too left field?
I'll qualify my first post be defining it as currently playing male players...

Yeah that's no prob, I was just naming another rugby family, I think the Stana's still qualify as the best "active" crop, assuming they are all in fact related.

Jacob and Moses Rauluni
Manny and Huia Edmonds
