Looks like Sias has a start for the Cheetahs on Friday against the Bulls at 10.... good news for us I reckon.
The article it says a certain Mr. Pretorious is playing at 9. Anyone thinking what I'm thinking?
Game's on Friday at midnight(ish) on FS1. Will be good to watch a game on Fox with out having to turn the sound down for once!

I don't know B1.
Foley didnt play him much at the Tahs. He is a bit of a defensive liability, with most missed tackles in the comp 2011. His attacking prowess is undeniable.

Just read on another site that Sarel Pretorius will be at the Cheetahs next year. Can find an offical link however his wiki have been updated saying he will play for the cheetahs in 2013.

Didn't realise that Curry Cup was on Fox..happy days..what of NPC (ITM Cup)?
That is usually on too...
It was an afrikaans web site: Suparugby.com dated 15 August 2012
"Die Cheetahs het die dienste van Super Sarel Pretorius vir aanstaande jaar se Super-reeks bekom. Pretorius is deur die Waratahs vrygestel en sal aanstaande jaar Super- en Curriebekerrugby vir die Vrystaat speel."
In a nutshell it says that the Cheetahs have have got his services for next years Super 15 and Currie cup, as he was released by the Waratahs.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
He didn't start.
From memory he did come on about 30min into first half tho..
From what I recall he did a lot of 'distributing' but didn't really challenge the line at all. I noticed he did seem pretty keen in defence which is good.
Came on at about same time as Pretorius and the Cheetahs looked much better when they came on.
He came on at about 50 and ran too much sideways. Has a good pass and isn't afraid to use it, even deep in his own half. Seemed like an intelligent kicker and has a reasonable amount of distance to his kicks.
He might have been playing the wide game to open up the gaps for Sarel, who made some huge breaks when he was on so that might be a good combination to focus on.
I don't remember Sias dropping a ball, so if he did it must have been a difficult take. And he was willing to get his hands dirty in d.
All in all, if he's fit, he'll do ok......never a match for the attacking lunacy of Quade, but not as much of a mug as Gits.
C'mon the![]()

Looks like our man has been re-called to the run on. Goosen's been called up to the Boks.
Game's on tonight around 10pm (ish). Couldn't see if it's on Fox or not
