Both are quite separate matters Mr Palitu.

"Laws" are as published by the IRB whilst "Application" is as per the "Game Management Guidelines for Community Level Rugby" as published by the ARU and the "2010 Competition Rules" as published by Rugby WA. No doubt you are fully versed in all three documents.

In addition, "Application" may alter according to directives / advice from the respective Unions / Referee Associations or upon the advice of referee coaches, depending on the level of game involved. The personality / experience of an individual referee will also influence application of the laws.

My knowledge will far surpasse that of Ecky's. You, Mr Palitu are not even on the radar.

Isn't it amazing that we find yet another expert on Rugby Law and its application right here on TWF.

An expert no less. Some one who is quick to criticise and yet in real life cant offer their services to RugbyWA as a Referee - or better yet - Coach of Referees.

I am sure that this here expert doesn't even offer their services to one of the local clubs. Surely any club coach with half a brain would love to cut down on his penalty count.

In fact why hasn't this expert offered his services to out beloved Western Force, surely the advantage of knowing the Laws and its application better than the Super14 Referees would have us competing for the final this weekend.

Actually now i think about it, i think you have been fairly rude in most your posts in any thread i have read...

I just reread through the thread and cannot find why you would challenge ecky to a pissing contest about who knows more about the laws/application?? He said what he did to reply to a comment about the Laws of rolling away, and went on to explain the Application of the laws in the last few years and how he Applies them.

mate, grow up... i can see by your years involved in club rugby that your an older bloke (assuming bloke here), that should have some semblance of maturity and know how to interact with other adults in a Constructive manner.

I am also guessing that you also old and bitter and believe your the ducks nuts... Good on you for knowing laws and applications, there's plenty i could teach you as well.

i would love to hear your knowledge when these sorts of questions come up as you are the self proclaimed resident expert on laws and application of them. Just don't do it like a dick head.
