The below from HQ
We are holding an open training session for all of our members next Monday from 11am-12.30pm. It is a chance for all of our members to see the team train, as well as get signatures etc. from them after. There will be a sausage sizzle, and a store will be set up with some really great deals on merchandise.
If there’s any way you could get it out to TWF, we would appreciate it. I know that TWF are our most rusted on, die-hard fans so would definitely enjoy it! There will also be a few giveaways to the kids, so very much a family friendly atmosphere.
So, who is going along???

Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!

Be like watching paint dry!
Myself, my boys and several lads from our rugby team.
All over it.
will we be entertained by them belting each other?
seems like the only passion the players have these days
Me, me missus and the little Dazlos will be there ( for the sausages)
I would love to go butThe one who must be obeyed would red card me as I might not be the quietest fan there... I might mention the word losses and ask to many ?? why I should invest in the force next yr...
Mr Foley might call security on me...
I feel I might not be alone on this point ??
The Foxsports rugby videos of the post match press conferences tell a consistent and similar story. Foley emphasises ATTITUDE, and says the result doesn't matter, so long as we bring attitude to the game.
The SUBTEXT is that he has dumbed down the game plan as he does not think we have the skill level in our ranks to compete with the talent in other teams. If anyone is going (I will be at work, sadly...) could someone perhaps put this to him?
Imagine what we could achieve with both ATTITUDE and a desire to run the ball sometime in the first 70 minutes of the game...
I'm with Daz and Beejay! I'm not sure whether my "attitude" would by right!
I just want to see three W's from the next three games.
May the FORCE be with you!
My son and I are still trying to get our member caps for this year. Try telling a 5 yr old new member he may have his cap for the last game of the season! Tried rebel sport twice and twice at the games to get them. It's a fucken disgrace the way rugby wa respect their long suffering members. No wonder the team can't figure how to win if the powers that be can't even get enough fucken caps for their 10 yr members.
Does the team store have any boof?
I will be there with my 3 boys! The win loss ratio has a lot less effect on the kids (thankfully) So look at this as a long weekend outing for the kiddies with a free lunch thrown in! Bring a rugby ball and let the kids have a run as well to wear themselves out while we have a sneaky beer on the slope and discuss what could have been!
Nope have rung them twice. Currently on a waiting list for when they arrive. Very sour taste in the mouth. They didn't order enough to cater for everyone thinking assuming that people would take up the option of using the voucher in store. Assume it makes an ass out of you and me!
