Western Force captain Pek Cowan believes restarting the Super Rugby season in South Africa will bring the team closer after the emotional turmoil and upheaval of losing coach Michael Foley.
The Force have drawn a short straw, travelling for just one match against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday night following the month-long break for the Test series against England. Teams normally tour for at least two games.
But prop Cowan, who is deputising for the injured Matt Hodgson, said it was a chance for the side to put problems behind them.
