Congratulations to Perth-Bayswater women's flyhalf Stacey Kilminster on her selection to the Australian national women's team, the Wallaroos. Stacey is one of three women selected from the WA state women's team.
Stacey has been an outstanding performer for the women's team in recent years and was a key part of the 2008 premiership-winning women's XV.
The Wallaroos leave Australia on 7 August to play the Samoan women's team in a test match.

Perth-Bayswater women defeated Cottesloe 32-0 for their fourth consecutive women's premiership, all of them against Cottesloe. Perth-Bayswater heavily dominated the first half rarely allowing Cott out of their half and led 17-0 at the break with three tries and a conversion. The Cottesloe girls rebounded in the second spell to pin Perth in their half for a long period but handling errors and stout Perth defence deprived them of any score. Perth broke out in the last quarter and scored three more tries. Perth right wing Hemoata Purukamu scored a hat trick, and there was a very unladylike bit of biffo early in the second half that inspired the referee to give both teams a good talking-to. Well done girls!
