    Bye week

The Blues take on the mighty Crusaders. There is a chance the Blues will drop another game. Great news for the Force. May the allblack injury toll be greater than the carnage on the Western Front. (can I say that on this forum?)

The Chiefs take on the Reds. We will be hoping the Reds will get up but you wouldn't want money on it. It's riskier than the bear market. Opes fallout isn't over yet.Rodney Blake might sit on a few.

Brumbies V Lions. I would normally wish the Brumbies well but they are competing for our spot. The Lions are rubbish. Brumbies by 20........unfortunately

Hurricanes V Cheetahs. The Canes won't raise a sweat.

Stormers V Highlanders. The only joy for us is the prospect of a wooden spoon for the kiwis

Stop teasing the kids Chis, they will have nightmares. Don't mention the colo to them either or they will retreat into the womb.

I will add to this. Tahs v Sharks Fins Soup. Tahs by 3 (or possibly a draw) I wouldnt put it past beautiful Francois to even the game up with seconds to go with a long distance drop goal. The sexy bastard.

Sharks normally would spank the Tahs but Saffas dont generally travel to well for some reason and the Tahs are on a high. Second spot up for grabs and the fish have been up top in the air to long.

I think you might be onto something chook, (as much as i don't want say this) the tahs have performed above expectations this year, with a few injuries and a reletively young back line.

    and they beat the Force

my only question would be, would they be performing so well had Link not been shown the door??

The Sharks are a very fine team. The first half against the Brumbies they were taking the ball over the advantage line at will and offloading to support men in motion. The multiphase play is hard to counter when you get on the back foot. Their number 8 was outstanding.
They lost momentum in the second half. The Brumbies lifted but the refereeing was atrociously bad. The ref wouldn't have got off the field alive if the match was in South Africa.
The Tahs are building. For a long time everybody has thought they have the talent but they rarely deliver when it counts. The forwards are solid. The scrum is the equal of any team in the competition. The lineout is dominant as long as Vickerman stays on the field. They have some real speed in the backs. Turner, Sam Two daddies, Costalote and how good is the new kid Rob Horne? Where was Horne whilst the Ella brothers were whipping the rugby world into exuberation over speed bump Kurtley Beale? Horne is very fast and has incredible strength and leg drive in contact. When he gets tackled he keeps pumping his legs and taking the ball over the advantage line. He isn't shy to tackle either. He is a bit kamakazi. His career may be short. He reminds me of a young Ben Tune with his speed and leg drive and determination. A good set piece and speed in the backs is a dangerous combination. It's a shame they are coached by a potato head. Kurtley Beale is a few years away from his best work but he has got better and better. His defence is a problem and the Sharks have the cattle to cause problems on the fringe of the ruck. Kurtley will be seeing a lot of the number 8 for the Sharks.

This is the match of the round but in my opinion both these teams will make the top 8. Only fourth place is up for grabs. The other games above are critical for the Force. Unfortunately, form dictates that most of the teams competing for the top 4 will get a win and more than 4 point break on the Force.

I like Chis's take on the upcoming games. He is mostly accurate I have found.

I think 'blokes' like force addict perhaps need to chill out and listen to a person that actually knows Rugby Union.

All anyone else ever does around here is get all worked up when it is someones "burpday". Deadset team groupies.

How about this? We actually discuss Rugby, not the players thighs?
