    Big Day Out Death

Righto .. I can't believe what am hearing and reading from people who are putting the death of this young girl at the feet of the police and their sniffer dogs.

Has this world gone completely mad?

Yes it is a sad thing to happen and I feel for her family and friends.

    BUT

Those pills are illegal .. it shouldn't have to go any further than that!?!?!?!?

It shouldn't and I agree with you 100% Happy

I saw on the news last night the Police Commisioner Karl O'Callaghan said "Police do not accept reponsibilty for this death"

I agree with Mr Commisoner 100% also

I think the concept missing here is called taking responsibility for your own actions.
Unfortunate that it seems to be disappearing.

100% agree, i know her perents are grieving but when people come out and say this crap, i would love the police commisioner to say that the person who brought and took this crap is responsable for there own actions and therefore there death!

at sydney this year we had big bins with a sign sayign "last chance before police line" people dumped some stuff in there, others took pills, it was stupid, they shouldnt be allowed and i cant believe people would make excuses for someone being a tard!

Exactly. If people took responsibility for their own actions, lawyers would be out of a job...

That must be a distressing thought for a law student

With the amount of Drug education etc pumped into kids at school these days you would think the message would be getting through but it seems that more and more idiots think they using so called "recreational" drugs such as ectasy and marijuana cant harm you...

If your stupid enough to take even one pill well then to put it bluntly the world is better off with you 6 foot under...

The saddest thing if you ask me, the bloke who made the pills most probably in his backyard shed, does not, will not give a shit. He made his money and will continue to make the pills

If the police had not done the drug search and the girl had died inside the event it would have been their fault as well?!!!

Talk about being caught between the devil and the deep blue sea!

Maybe they should blame the Musicians and Bands.

If their music wasn't so crap people wouldn't have to pop pills to listen to it.

Unfortunately this girls bed has a lid.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

She had a choice, to take them or not - if someone forced them down her throat - blame them, if not, it's all on her head - no one else is to blame.

I guess the family wants someone else to blame as they could never believe that their kid would take drugs
