Aussie Drahm wins England call

AUSTRALIAN-born five-eighth Shane Drahm has been named in the England A squad for next month's game with Italy in Rome.

Drahm, the former Queensland Reds fly half who qualifies for England on residency grounds, had spells at Bristol and Northampton in the English competition before linking up with the Worcestershire last year.

A revised A squad, together with a 30-man senior England party, will be announced after training sessions at Loughborough University next week.

League convert MacDougall earns Scotland call-up

Former rugby league player Ben MacDougall looks set to make his rugby union Test debut after being selected in Scotland's squad for this year's Six Nations tournament.

The Australian-born back switched codes in 2004 with a move to Scotland, where he plays with club side Borders.

MacDougall, 28, served a lengthy suspension in 1998 after testing positive for a banned substance while playing for Western Suburbs in Sydney.
