Clerc scores twice to end Springboks' home run
Wing Vincent Clerc scored two tries to help France to a 36-26 defeat of South Africa in their one-off Test in Cape Town this morning.
Wow! Looks like the home team is getting on track for RWC2007!
the v bookiers were a bit slack this weekend...we could have taken a fortune on this result
... Wayne Julies should be shot..
What only him?Originally Posted by Shaunmarn

Blame Percy, he didn't put on any late points for the Boks, therefore it's his fault.
No, it's Wayne Julies and Eddie Andrews fault. Eddie Andrews can't scrum to save his life and Wayne Julies, where do i start?
1. He can't tackle!
2. He can't break through a tackle!
3. We have better reserves!
4. He doesn't even look like a rugby player!
If Wayne is reading this... please go back to sevens rugby, you are more suited to that style of game![]()
Trouble is: you lost to the better team!
Shit happens.
No, if we had all our players we would have come away with the win, France did play well though.
France have actually won 10 of their last 11. They ain't doing too badly.
The Springboks don't really lose all that often. They hardly ever come up against a "better team".
There were a lot of slow, crap geriatrics on the field against France. About time they broke their 13 home game winning streak though so that Jake can get the confidence to experiment a bit more.
BTW, Percy could have won the game with a single kick if he wanted to - they didn't base the new Superman movie on him for nothing.
I guess the springboks get to claim the underdog status too now...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Of course, that is what I was saying before!Originally Posted by Goldmember
