Pretty poor games from the ref and stannard, brown hockings cross standouts.
I think we very lucky and Scott Daruda came on put everyone to shame - solid defence, solid passing, solid kicking - he gets my vote, followed by Giteau and then Staniforth.
Very disappointing airhead performance by the vast majority of the team.

It's funny that despite all the missed tackles against the Blues the Highlanders actually took advantage of our mistakes with good runs by the backs....you would think it would be the opposite...

... although I found it hard to watch... Stannard seemed a bit slow in clearing out sometimes, and Lawrence absolutely bloody confounds me. I hope the fellas enjoy their victory brews (in moderation!) and that they pull up OK tomorrow

Well done boys . We didnt play well at all and still won which has to be a good sigh. We looked pretty jaded- hopefully better energy next week , and Chris o young back. hope our tackling imroves by then- pretty ordinary at times

Just watched the replay, loved the effects mike, i assume it was the refs mike? You could clearly hear the players most of the game
Idiot ref has the next 2 weeks off. Hopefully will get some rules education in that time.
