If this for real it is a sad statement about drugs in sport for the USA.

Has there ever been a Rugby player who has made the switch to NFL? I know there were a couple of punters who came from the AFL.
Larry, a Defensive Tackle for the Cardinals - Colin Scotts.

Colin Scotts born 26th April, 1963 is distinguished by being the Australian to win a football scholarship in the United States to be drafted into the NFL.
He became the second Australian to play in the NFL after Colin Ridgeway, an Australian Rules convert.
Growing up in Sydney, Scotts first played rugby union and had a successful career in the sport.
He later moved to Hawaii, where he converted to gridiron.
After being drafted, he forged a successful career in the NFL playing a brief but successful career. He finished in his debut year, 1987, with a total of 7 games for the St Louis Cardinals cut short by injury.
After his retirement from the sport he shifted to business.
Later in life he became a WWF pro-wrestler.
Today, Colin is a motivational speaker.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Rugby to football than to the WWF! He really had an up & down career.
I'm surprised that the NFL doesn't recruit more rugby players. Many of them look like they would make great running backs or linebackers.
Keep your stinkin Yankee hands of them Larry![]()
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
It would be difficult for him as he's 32, untested in the sport, it's unlikely he could block, he can't catch... the best I could see is that he could be a 3rd down specialist and maybe kick returns, how many teams would take the risk though?
I don't think any team would even give him a tryout because of everything that you mentioned Sagerian. This Bennett dude obviously isn't a very good scout.
But again I think that there are many players who would be very good in the NFL.
