Interesting to see how well the Stormers are playing. They have one of the best line-outs in the comp if not the best, where we can be a bit careless in ours and I'm sure that will be a big target area for the Stormers come Friday night. Their tackling is also up there and ours is slipping.
However, the Stormers have about the worst discipline record with their penalty counts more often than not double their opponents. If we put them under pressure in their 22 we are sure to gain penalties and it's quit possible a Stormer player sin binned. The more we are in their face the more likely we will see them breakdown.
Earlier in the season I did not rate the Stormers but now I can see a side who can play some great rugby and are fit enough to play the full 80 minutes. We will need to play well to win, unlike against the Highlanders. As JM keeps saying we need to be accurate, focused and play 110% for the full 80 minutes. If we aspire to be champions then we need every man to put everthing he has into every game.
The stage is set boys and the opportunity is there, now give us everything you've got!
Go The Force

Just happy to be here
I thought habana played for the bulls?!? not that i pay much attention to the SA teams...
Yeah, I was gonna say that I'd be pretty surprised to see him this Friday!![]()
I was going to say: we'll have more than enough problems with Chavhanga and Naqelevuki, don't go wishing Habana on us as well. We'll deal with him in due course.
I agree about the Stormers - they are going to take a much more rounded and precise performance than against the Highlanders. Almost feel that the Force has slipped a little over the last couple of weeks, but they're at home now and hopefully resting up. You get the feeling that the team is standing on the threshold of something special, but it is going to take a few deep steadying breaths, a calm and focused approach, a great big brass pair each and confidence in self and team.
Welcome home boys, get ripped in. It is all there for the taking.
maybe we can organise a dodgy pizza like sharpe had before the sharks game to sort out some of the speedster stormers
Force have home crowd spurring them on and a confidence boost after winning 2 from 2 in NZ. So long as they are not over-confident from that, they will be fine...bring it on!
its a little scary how quick chavhanga is in that video!
anyone we have able to keep up with him?
maybe we need to attack their centres..
get spanner back in their running nice and straight and hard with cross on his hip..
Do we get a decent referee this week? Thank goodness in will not be a bloody Sarfie
Western Force vs Stormers in Perth
Referee: Lyndon Bray (New Zealand)
Assistant Referees: Vinny Munro (New Zealand), Geoff Acton (Australia)
Television match official: Steve Leszczynski (Australia)
Assessor: Brendan McCormick (Australia)
So, what's Lyndon Bray like?....hope he's hard on ruck infringements![]()
