when i met him at the adelaide sevens i didn't know who he was and we had a nice little chat about anything and everything and he said he was from brisbane but that he was going to WA for work or something but it never clicked until later when my little brother told me who he was and that he was only 17, i thought he was older than that because of how well he played so not everyone underestimates 17 year olds

We are very proud of him here at Rockingham. He did us proud.
Mate......wave goodbye, we won't be seeing a lot of him anymore.....I predict a lot of Super14 game time on the basis of that performance!

Congratulate him for us all here, he certainly looked the shizzle from where I sat!

Well, he has visited the Rockingham rugby club at least three times a season since he moved over here. I haven't seen him yet this year, but I'm sure he'll be about at some point!

You can get a sig just by hanging around the club!

    working saturdays makes it hard.
and i wouldnt ask him for one there.
not really the right time to do that kind of thing.
strikes me as too bogan when hes there to relax and watch a game

(wwos website) And while Sharpe was full of admiration for O'Connor, he also had high praise for another debutant, prop Kieran Longbottom, who became the first genuine West Australian product to graduate from juniors to the Force XV.
Kieran has played pretty much all of his rugby & had a vast majority of his rugby development in WA [aside from a stint playing university rugby in QLD for a season], whereas Welborne started playing this level rugby with the 'Tahs.

Very true and you are right to be so proud of him. But there's only one first spot in any category and Wobber's had that nailed since day 1. Keiran can be immensely proud to be the first to come through since the inception of the Force. No one will ever get that honor again either.

James o'connor was named in the aussie team of the week, big call as he was really never in the firing line. check the replay, for most set plays the blindside winger took his place to keep him away from contact. Good player, but remember small players only have a limited life span in top grade rugby. So using him early we might lose him before he is physically at his best. Giteau has aready had 3 concussions this season and most of the time that type of injury gets more frequent

Good to see you on the site impassabull. Just had a look at your previous 10 posts, since i havent noticed your posts before. Not one positive thing to say about the Force, ie players and coaching staff. Whats the problem? We are a Force site and welcome all views on our club. Cheer up, life is too short to be miserable impassabull.
