The 2008 TWF Quiz night has been run and won by Table 4 - comprising the genius of Coach, Rugby Widow, JediKnight, Jehna, Josie and travelling_gerry.
Table 4 took the lead early in the night and despite pressure from Table 2 - "The Petitioners" were able to hold off for the win for the 2nd year in succession.
Many thanks to the Quiz Masters Happy and Mrs Happy and Social Director TheInnForcer.
The other big winner of the night was Mrs Jargan who won a round of golf with Moose and an Emirates Western Force player at a date to be set.
The night would not been possible without those people as well as the staff at the bowlo and Good Mood Food for the fantastic feed.
Big thanks also to sponsors who donated prizes including, Western Force Superstore, Western Range Wines, the bowlo guy ex CUB, Plastic Sandwich and any others I am sure will will remember.
See you all at the Bowlo Friday night for the Brumbies match.
The genius? God give me strength!

Great fun again for the 2nd TWF Quiz Night.....some things changed from last time:
- less contentious questions (or answers?!)...well done Happy, Mrs Happy must be a good influence on you)
- great to see new faces from the TWF family
- a few able substitutes in the TG/Jedi team
However, one thing didn't change.....
- TG/Jedi team won again
Come on folks, lots of studying needed from everyone before next year so we can have some competition next time. Now I know how the Crusaders feel!!!!!

CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Congrats guys & gals. If I would've seen the tab I would've won big $$$ on ya all!
Thanks everyone for a very enjoyable night, very professionally organised and run.
The food was excellent and the quiz questions were a good and fair mix.
Suggestion - start a wee bit later- say 7.30 to give those in club land time to get there from all over the metro area- we have to stay there until at least presentations!
Thanks to the guys on our table who helped make it all the more enjoyable. Andy was especially brilliant with his general and rugby knowledge.
I have a question , was the calm, reasonable and charming quiz master really the same Happy one sees gibbering at JB's on a friday night?
Thanks to everyone involved with the organising...questions were good and atmosphere excellent...food was pretty handy too (way better than expected)
Well done to the winners whoever you are...
coz Stone Cold says so

Thanks to all the organisers![]()
