Congrats Force - but as a Reds supporter, obviously a bit disappointed.

However I must comment on the balance of that pile of puss written by Mr Smith about Qld bleeding talent.

    Lets review.

Cordingly and Latham - both old now and have played almost zero football for the Reds these past two years.

Rodzilla - unfortunately never went on with his good form of a year or two ago. He is now fat and unfit.

Schifcofske - has contributed very little in two years and never made the transition from Rugby League. Let Qld down a lot this year with poor goal kicking and professional fouls (sin binned).

Moore - is a loss, but remember that he left mainly because of the Reds new signings from the Brumbies. He finished the year strongly after a poor start.

Croft - definately a loss, but to be truthful, he was looking tired and worn out a bit this year.

Then there is the clear out from Eddie Jones' days - Walker, Johanson etc.

Truth is that Mooney is attracting and holding some of the best new talent in Australia to the Reds. His appointment today as Australia A coach will only enhance that. Already this year he has started to bring the talents of Cooper, Hynes, Barnes, Horwill etc. to a level that establishes a nice platform going forward.

I'm sorry, but Messrs. Smith, Growden etc are just useless rugby journalists, and can't help but to try and put a sensational angle on an article - a matter that WF supporters know only too well.

Brillant news ahead of what shapes to be a pretty decent weekend.

    Indiana Jones tonight
Sharks over the Tahs tomorrow night

The only negative is the essay I've got due on Monday.....that's what Sunday is for I guess.

Sorry to labour the point - but just to show what crap Smith writes -

AUSTRALIA Under-20 squad lock Rob Simmons and hooker James Hanson have signed two-year deals with Queensland.

Anyway, back to celebrating your good news on this re-signing.

I can breathe again! And it feels brilliant!

I was very confident he was going to stay after having a lovely conversation the other day with his manager who said they were doing everything they could to get him to stay. (Would have loved to have posted that on TWF but worried about privacy until the announcement was made). And I told him to tell David that if he left, I would cry and he would be held accountable for those tears! Cheers Bam Bam! No tears here.

A great day for Western Australian rugby and Australian rugby too!

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
