Well, all the indications are that that this is likely to happen. Palmyra is in a form and player trough, with many of its limited number of senior players out with long term injuries, including flanker Jerry Viriki, prop Rob Salotti, utility back Taj Mailati. fullback Malu Lauti-galloti and second rower Chris Rankine. Add to this that Palmyra have yet to see a Force player in their ranks, and the writing appears to be on the wall.
Perth on the other hand, as far as I am aware, come into the game after a string of successes, resplendent with a treasure trove of Force hopefuls, and little in the way of injuries.
I hope Pally can take it up to them and be competitive, but one must be realistic.
It would be interesting to hear a Perth perspective.
