Jane McGrath, the wife of former Test cricketer Glenn McGrath, has died of cancer at the age of 42.
She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997.
Cricket Australia said in a statement that Mrs McGrath's health had declined over the past week after having surgery earlier in the year.
She leaves behind two children, James and Holly.
The McGrath family has requested that their privacy be respected.
Thats devastating. 11 years is a long time and she has been such an inspiration to so many women and achieved so much in that time.
Deepest sympathy to the family.

Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
She was an amazing woman and an inspiration to young women and her legacy will live on in the McGrath Foundation.

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
thats so terrible... poor family... rip
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Such a beautiful courageous woman who would be an amazing person to acheive half the things she did in her time. A true inspiration in raising awareness and showing us all how to enjoy the time we get here.
My heart goes out to Glenn, their children and their extended family.
